My name is Tim Honeycutt I am a photographer for a News Station in Lubbock TX. I started working in a movie theater when i was 16 and became a booth operator. It was in the projection room and i got into the filming aspect of the movies. I had an eye for looking at shots and how they were composed. From there I started doing my own short films and mainly just practicing. As my skill level increased I started going to school at South Plains College in Levelland TX. I was a video production major and the instructor in that program directed me into the Radio, Television and Film Program. I fell in love with TV and have been doing it ever since. I got a job at a news station as a sound guy but eventually became a news photographer. Here I am now; I shoot every day and couldn’t ask for more. News shooting moves so fast and i always have to remember "shoot first ask later"
