As for the story / plot:
The blonde dude (Cloud) woke up one day with everything ruined...his house, his family, all just ruins. Without knowing what in the world was going on, he continued to walk into this world, hoping it's just a bad dream, which obviously, it wasn't. He finds his dad's scooter & phone, and picks up the second one. He tries to call his mom, hoping once again everything was just into his mind, but no answer. The phone number does not exist. Then, desperate he tries to destroy the mobile phone, but in that exact moment, he receives a call...from his mother, which was in heaven.
Without a family, without a home, he goes into the town and finds a girl trying to help someone who suffers from a disease that scary everyone else. It doesn't take long since the two of them go together with other kids just like them into a better place. They eventually grow up, becoming "adults", but Cloud still wants to find his lost family...which is in heaven. To do that, he himself must go to heaven, and he does that mentally. But every time, the answer from his folks is the same: "Stop chasing shadows, just enjoy the ride", meaning he should stop looking for them, and enjoy his life, that he shouldn't want to suffer anymore, he should get over it and be happy.
He finally understands the answer, because he loves that girl, and when he gets over it, he gets rid of his old father's phone.
That's most of it....and I really like the way it turned out. Also, I would like to dedicate this AMV to the one who originally gave me the song a loooong time ago...yup, that's you Luci.
