Kim Welch I think in some ways it improved us. It gave us time to reflect and meditate on what is really important and gives life meaning on deeper levels. "That which does not kill us makes us stronger."

Nicolaita Alex And it gave us the time to think and realize what matters the most. We came out stronger, wiser and more conscious and aware of where we want to go and what we wish to do.

Photography in Pandemic Times

  • Even though the past year hasn't been very friendly with content creators of all types. But this did not stop me from having a few creative photoshoots.

In my case, the lockdown gave me the time I needed to focus on my passion for photography. At first, I had to use my creativity in-door and work with the people who are closest to me to practice. After I have gained the knowledge of how to properly set up my camera, I managed to take a very nice portrait.

In the summer of 2020, after the first lockdown, I went to Oradea.

A few kilometers away, I had the chance to photograph water lilies.

In September 2020, right before the second pandemic wave hit, I had a Fitness photoshoot with two models from a local Gym. Out of all the pictures that I took that day, these are the ones that I like the most.

The model was a bit shy at first, but as the photoshoot went on, she found her courage and regained her confidence.

At the end of November, in the midst of the second lockdown, I took a creative selfie indoors. The message that inspired me is that "we are all connected".

In January, I went in a wonderful mountain place in Romania, in the small city called Garana. There, I took a few pictures of the beautiful landscape.

Just before the third pandemic wave hit, in February, I had the opportunity to work with a local nail artist, who asked me to take a creative picture of nails. I went out of my comfort zone, but I am very pleased with the result.

After the first photoshoot, my client wished a second photoshoot, this time in a collaboration with a local handmade artist, who crafts bracelets.

The third pandemic wave motivated me to pay more attention towards product pictures.

As the third pandemic wave was preparing to go, a local make-up artist contacted me about an indoor photoshoot with two models.

The arrival of summer came with the trend of Poppy Flowers pictures and I went on and conducted a photoshoot with my muse, which is also my wife

To sum up, the past year has been difficult. But it also gave me the time to develop new skills and engage in creative projects.
