I'm a composer and partner in the music licensing/composition company Fliktrax LLC (www.Fliktrax.com). Things have been kind of slow on the original score front and a few of us would rather stay busy then spend all our time on jingles.
If you are a young filmmaker in the NY area and need original music for your short or student film contact us. We are accepting a few professional quality project to do "gratis" (however we would expect some payment/back end, if film makes money).
You gain the creativity and experience of industry professionals and we can continue to stay creative while "Creative" work is scarce. Also form relationships with up and coming Directors/Producers, etc..
