A Summary of the Screenplay
Magical Insurrections:

Evil grips a world when enough people stop caring about it. At such times the Sidhe Elf
appears. Ari a woman wizard gets captured by the evil Three Sisters. Tristen rescues her.
They fight their way to a safe house of Tristen's gang: the Relevants. The Relevants split up
and leave the safe house. Tristen and his friends abandon their vehicle and walk. Tristen accidentally knocks Ari into some water and when he goes to rescue her they end up in a
magical world. They meet a Pookah and return to the world. They find themselves at a building where The Relevants are under attack. Ari gets them inside and Tristen makes a powerful wish
for safety. But Marcel rushes outside to help a friend just as the door slams shut.
Ari teaches Tristen about magic and wishes. When Marcel and a young teen named Alina
arrive, they make powerful wishes. Tristen wants to know what will happen from his wishes
and Ari tricks him into wishing anyway. They blow up most ships and all aircraft. Millions die.
In the morning the Three Sisters attack them. Tristen defeats them by calling upon the Pattern,
but in so doing he kind of kills Alina, nearly kills Marcel and sends himself and Ari to the
In-Between, the Magical Place... again!
At a lake in the Magical Place, Tristen and Ari have fun and fall in love or deepest trust.
The Pookah has a prophecy for them and Ari admits she has been tricking Tristen in order to
get him to act. They return to the tower and find Marcel. Alina is missing. They debate wish strategies and fall asleep. When they awake they are on a different tower... the third tower
change so far. The final tower is a skyscraper rooftop in a major city. They make more wishes
and agree on a plan to trap the Three sisters and save the world. More sacrifices are made and
the final wish has some bizarre consequences... A surprise ending is sure to please everyone.

PREMISE :
Can Ari help Tristen shape wishes to change the world before the big attacks by the Empyre come. The lessons learned, the message for the audience: Bravery; loyalty; don't let sleeping dogs lie,
kill them before they bite you hard. How does one resolve thorny issues?
THE THEMES :
One has to use what is available. One has to trust those you can. Violence is necessary for real change or to protect your tribe. Bravery, loyalty... the risk of sacrifice.
PLOT:
Ari hunts for Tristen, the Sidhe. She is captured by the evil Three Sisters (former healers from California). Tristen rescues Ari. She teaches him about magic as his powers unfold. They have
no idea how powerful or specific Tristen's wishes will be. Ari has to trick him in order for him
to take chances. They kill millions of people as they experiment. In the first attack of the Sisters, Tristen uses the Pattern to stop them. Love and friendship are wagered against power and victory. Time is running out before the Empyre launches a global attack on all of the remaining good people. They take more chances and trust enough in each other and themselves to spring a trap and make a wish within a wish (or a dream?).
Movie Locations We Are Hunting:
We want to do this two hour movie in Vancouver, Montreal, Detroit
or Athens! Know a film crew, actors or cool rooftops we can use?
1. A five acre green field or a bit of green with lots of rocks or broken concrete surrounding a tower, old building or even a water tank or large billboard. A field, park or pasture (Ireland?).
2. A stream that turns into a sewer ditch: Entrances and exits of large, old storm sewer tunnels with some of the inside graffiti art. Best if there is a tall building or tall walls at one exit.
3. The coolest old door in the world please! It should be at least eight feet tall and five feet wide (10 by 8 is better). A door in an old concrete or stone building: A large, strange door... at an old fort or a prison... Or just a door in a tall old building. It should have 20 or 40 feet of old stone or very old concrete (brick maybe) wall on one side of the door. This wall should be at least 20 feet high.
4. An old plain or strange dirty room with a stairway going up (could also use a different cool stairway for parts). No windows, dirty windows or windows that we can make dirty or gel over. The room can be just a landing of the stairway (10 by 15 feet or so).
5. A long stairway dirty and old... Preferably at least two flights of stairs
(three floors).
6. An upstairs, interior door in a hallway where stairs come up at the other end or in
the middle of hallway. Should be old and a bit strange or paintable... (Glow paint
with sigils too!).
7. A dirty room to clean... or to unclean. Approximately 14 feet by 30 feet or larger, with windows and a place where we can make a small fire for tea. Use as rooftop room for early shots. Preferably there is only a view of trees, sky or mountains on at least one side. It would be perfect if the room was on top of a roof (Four to six stories high).
8. A rooftop with an unobstructed view in one direction at least. Preferably an old
roof without much modern stuff on it (ducts, coolers, powerlines...). It is perfect if
it also has a 14 foot by 30 foot (or larger ) room on the roof.
9. A variety of rooftops, narrow streets sunny ponds. A pond or lake with a tower or a ruined building near it. One rooftop is at least 15 stories up in a large city.
If you can find one or two locations with all of these things, we will love you and maybe pay you a hundred Euros or more!
MOVIE NEEDS ACTORS :::
Relevants is a low budget movie about magic. Two youths wield a rare magic and powerful wishes to stop the Empyre's final solution massacres.
Three important actors and two minor actors are needed.
Ari (Arafel, the wizard) : Looks 18 – 22 years old; young with an attitude (or two!); light brown hair preferred but not important. Over 5' 2” and under 5' 10”. Ari holds several contradictions lightly. She is cute, sweet, a bit of a tease and yet she is tough, a wise wit, and wields a broad view. She is actually about 100 years old and has been searching for Tristen for decades, ever since her father died while trying to protect Tristen from the Three Sisters.
Tristen (Sidhe Elf-Lord) :
Looks 20 to 24 years old; spacey and intuitive. He has always been a helper and not a leader. Tristen is aloof, dreamy, honest, childlike and so sincere that he is almost spooky! He cannot remember much of his 40 years of living or his past lives as a Sidhe Elf-Lord. The Three Sisters tried to kill him when they killed Ari's father. They did manage to erase most of his memory. In the end this backfires on the Sisters as Tristen learns more about humans and this allows him to understand the human problem/trap better and to make unique wishes. The Sidhe have always been cruelly compassionate, but Tristen finds a new way.... kind of.
Marcel
(Son of a great seer, Tristen's best friend) : Looks 18 to 30 years old; Algerian or Moroccan, all or part Black is possible; He is immediate, desperate and focused. Kill the rich and let the worms sort them out. We live in a world that has always been controlled by evil, defined by evil and headed for more evil... He thinks that anyone with power (beauty, money, talents, skills, song, knowing...) who does not fight the concentrations of power is worse than evil – worse than Hitler... or even worse than America. He is Beyond the Coming Insurrection. Strategy/ Tactics. Marcel is “to the Death!” & “all revolutions failed to be violent enough! Doubt and ignorance always trump the obvious...” His fears are losing his friends or discovering they are traitors, treacherous or just dumb. His strengths are: extreme loyalty to a small group, bravery, decisiveness and straight talk. His weaknesses are: insecurity of how others view him ...and his war-focus. Loyal to Tristen when others have doubted him. Willing to die (even anxious to die if it fits into something meaningful...). Like Air – like Fire. Preoccupied but sincere and friendly. At times a leader, though not ambitious at all... just focused on priorities & the Cause... the Need (s).

Alina
(A Doolah immune to magic) : 11 – 13 years old ; Short but important role.
Tamarra
(A friend and fellow wizard with Ari): 16 to 24 years old. She is in a coma most of the movie. Marcel takes special interest in her and cares for her...
