Venice the Menace (www.venicethemenace.com) is a new online broadcast network featuring short films and web videos about life in world-famous Venice, California.

We are currently accepting short films from around the world, in all genres. Films from any year of production are eligible.

Participants will have the opportunity to screen their work at The Vine Street Playhouse in the Promenade several times during the festival, which coincides with the American Film Market, a major independent-film marketplace held annually in Santa Monica. The festival will also include dozens of shorts selected and presented by The Vine, including films featuring James Gandolfini, Faye Dunaway and other premier actors and directors.

Venice the Menace is currently accepting entries in four short-format categories. All shorts accepted to the festival will also be featured on www.venicethemenace.com. There will be jury and audience awards in all categories.
