Pana-AG-HVX200vs.Sony HVR-V1
I am in the process of making a camera purchase. I have been reading up on these 2 cameras of late. Going HI-Def and would really like a little direction where to look. The Panasonic dealers are offering a free 8 gig P2 card ($1200.00) but I have had good luck w/Sony. Open to any ideas or other strategies because this is a costly upgrade and I want to make the right choice.
Thanks for the ear and I'll wait for a response.

I have used the HVX and absolutely love it, I have not used Sony's HVR.
So as a comparison I can't tell you very much, but I promise you that you will not be disappointed by the HVX's performance, as long as you are prepared and willing to work through workflow issues, but it runs smooth once you get it down.
