Most things classic: jazz, rock, r&b, soul, folk, classical, some opera.
The Met's production of Tan Dun's "The First Emperor" with Placido Domingo, broadcast live in HD in a local Dallas theater blew me stone cold away.
Ravi Shankar and Nora Jones can both put me in a trance.
Kool and the Gang's "Summer Madness" is my all-time chill pill.

Originally from England, I'm a classically trained dancer and choreographer (ballet, modern), and a certified ballroom dance instructor (latin is my specialty). I gave it all up for a lucrative and long career in motion graphics, animation, and visual effects. I've done my share of directing and editing as well. I'm currently in teaching mode at the University of Texas, Arlington, and Texas A&M University, Commerce. While loving the teaching thing, I'm also actively freelancing for selected clients and doing plenty of community outreach (payback).
