Anything that has to do with shooting.Really good movies. Directing(DUH). Writing a really good idea and then executing it.

Not being able to shoot.Actors/Crew that flake at the last minute. People who give a negative opinion without backing it up.

I got started in the business in 1994 and P.A.'d for about four and half years before I realized, for me, that it wasn't going to lead to the director's chair. And I wasn't such a fan of movie making that I just wanted to be around it all the time. I had a specific goal and wanted only that, to be a director. So I went back to school, the Academy of Art San Franicsco to put my commercial/music video reel together. Once I was finished I came to Los Angeles where I was kicked in the teeth and my reel was spat on by almost everyone I submitted it to. But instead of leaving with my tail between my legs, I took it as a challenge and have spent the last four years learning and growing as a person and an artist. I have been revamping my reel as of late and am about to move ahead, yet again,in the submition process. This time I feel will be different. Currently I am a Director/sometimes D.P. working in the corporate/instructional commuications area of motion picture. I am developing a couple of short films and have just completed a behind the scenes doc. for a feature film. I still aspire to do commercials and music videos full time, but for now I am trying to bring an element similar to corporate/instructional fare because, to be honest, it really needs it.
