Woodworking, practical effects, props. And I now can weld.

One of my favorite movies is "The Legend of 1900". If you haven't seen this film I plead with you to make the time and see it. "The Fire" one of the films I was a part of. "Pan's Labyrinth" is a beautiful and stirring movie as well.

I like all kinds, but really enjoy local flavor. My all time favorite is David Sanborne. He knows how to play a sax. Great to see live. Asia, Pink Floyd, Kings X, Alan Jackson, Alice n Chains, local bands like Rhythem, Jason Michaels, Auto Escape just to name a few.

Hate to read. I did get my hands on a Special Effects book this last week and found some really nice stuff. Might have to use some of it on the next short film we work on.

When that perfect take is complete. Standing there with a shotgun mic and yell at everyone to be quite on the set because you can here a police car in the background with its siren from 3-4 blocks away, just so you can have the sound file...sweet.

I hate post-prodution...okay maybe hate is a too strong a word. I do like trying to find music for the projects I work on.

Okay, let's now make it five years since I got started in this crazy mess. I still am running the sound equipment for Palatia Motion Picture Group, still building props, and started writting a little. We finished our newest project called "Button Pusher" and this will be part of the DFW Gong Show. "Unglued" has now won two awards for two different film festivals, one for best edited short film and the other for best short film drama. We are very happy about this and only look forward to only the best for this short film. We are gearing up for the 24 Hour Race in Dallas next month, we missed last years race and are really looking forward to this years.
