FilmRunner Choice Winners!

Filmrunner Choice Winner!

Congratulations to the winners of the first FilmRunner.net contest!

Jeff Priskorn, Loose Change Entertainment, and the rest of the cast and
crew of "Love & Plutonium". The Filmrunner crew has selected "Love
& Plutonium" as their favorite film submitted last month. In
addition to being one of the first ten movies chosen to appear on
Filmrunner (a $200 prize), Loose Change Entertainment will also receive
$500 for being selected for the "Filmrunner Choice Award!"

This comedy is fun to watch, and draws a fine line between good and
evil. A little action, a little romance, and a whole lot of funny...
this film delivers excellent comedic performances. Fast paced editing
and good direction gives this film creative energy and demonstrates
unquestionably that indeed "sometimes love goes BOOM!"

A strong contender for the "Filmrunner Choice Award", and also a
receipient of a $200 prize is Lenders Morgan. This intense thriller
provides compelling performances amid an intricate storyline with
strong sexual situations.

Stephanie Grote excels in the role of Taylor Feazel, a girl who
disappears from a small Ohio town and unwittingly becomes a subject of
repression and sexual curiousity.

This haunting drama from F3Films tells the story of two confused
teenagers and the painful conflict thrust upon them amidst poverty and
ignorance.

Eight other films each won $200 prizes for being among the first ten movies to appear on Filmrunner:

Some Kind of Justice - a dark and intense movie about a serial killer.
Kidnapping, bondage, assault, murder, all spell mystery for the A.P.I.
and the F.B.I.

The Living and the Dying - a group of criminals stage a prison break to
rescue a convict who knows the location of a stolen $2 million, but is
critically wounded during the escape.

Hippies - this well-shot comedy focuses on five friends who take a road trip to Eugene Oregon in order to save the Earth.

Mellow Drama - A documentary of a b-boy crew featuring lots of breakdancing as the crew forms and grows over a ten year period.

River of Dread - a sci-fi comedy reminiscent of the old 50's sci-fi
thrillers features invisible skeletons, an alien robot, and theoretical
giant monkeys!

Genius - a dramatic character study of celebrity, prodigy, talent, and its collision with regular life.

The ReBirth of Lucretia - this stylized horror follows the fate of an
immortal girl confronting instanity brought on by the torture of her
own memories.

Pisser - the account of a fat, drunk, and stupid hot dog vendor, the hot dog mafia, and two filmmakers in pursuit of nudity.
