Hey, just wanted to give my first update here. I am currently working on two tv shows, one of them I am co-owner/producer of, the other one I am a dp. I just spent all day yesterday reading the technical requirements for PBS submissions. They can be found here: http://www.pbs.org/producers/redbook/specs/index.html Very detailed and very specific.

At least after reading that I know all I need to know about show formats, audio leveling requirements, legal voltages, hd formats, show formats, sponsor tags, bugs, bumpers, and teasers. This is the first series that I'll have aired after having some other documentaries broadcast, and it is much different. If you are working on a tv series its helluva lot of work, but its also a rewarding experience to be able to point to the TV Guide and say, "this is my show!"

I also got married last month to a wonderful woman named Jody. She is an amazing woman and the only person in the world to me. I won't submit you all to the obligatory wedding photos, though, so you can relax.
