I don't know your budget, but I would give the canon xl a try, assuming you're like most and have adapted into using digital, final cut/avid, et cetera...  But if not, then more power to you.  16 mm rocks.  Nothing quite like it.

Too much! Classes and loads of editing!! An indie film, and two music vids... things never get dull... just busy beyond belief.
