I have been involved in the television industry for over 30 years, both staff and freelance.
Currently, First Generation Visual Communication employs me as Senior Editor where I am responsible for all video content produced by our company. That includes broadcast, non-broadcast, web and other electronic media.


We are primarily PC-based and our editing suite(s) software arsenal includes Premier Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition and Encore all running on Matrox Axio Systems. Throughout my career I have worked with every videotape format created, from 2” Quad through today’s MXF file based systems. I am glad to have the privilege to work in the non-linear age, however, I value the lessons learned from my linear past.


Projects that I have been associated with have been viewed on ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN, HBO, A&E and PBS. For those of you interested, my corporate clients would include AT&T, Crayola, Mack and Volvo.


Outside of the editing room, my interests include gourmet cooking, gardening and woodworking. I also find time to indulge in another passion – photography. My balance is found with my family, who understands and respects what I do – and I also recognize and respect the sacrifice they make during those longer edit sessions.
