russ wazzup?!!

me again, with yet another quick update.  so here's the thing... i just uploaded a couple of new shorts i've recently finished scoring, to my web site, which is (still) located at www.flatnosemusic.com/scoring_index.html , and as always i'm very interested in getting some feedback from fellow listeners.  so i figured i'd let you know about yet another chance to listen to some of this snazzy music that comes out of my head and heart (usually late at night).  feel free to listen to some stuff, watch some of the clips, and hit me back with any questions, comments, or remarks you might have.  and if you are indeed impressed to the point of wanting to work with me on any project, current or upcoming, please don't hesitate to send me a quick note, and i'll get back to you asap.

thanx a bunch, and happy holidays!!

hey there,

i haven't been over here in a little while, so i figured i'd pop in and say HI, and also to let ya know that i've just uploaded a new video to my web site.  it's a short entitled "lawn god" and was directed by eric hickey.  the original score is by, yes you guessed it, yours truly Smile  i also wrote music to one of the new batman trailers which i've also uploaded recently.

if you got a sec and you're interested check it out at www.flatnosemusic.com/scoring_index.html and let me know watcha think.  as always, any constructive criticism is very much appreciated.

other than that i'm hoping you're enjoying this so far pretty snazzy summer, and that life is treating you fair and square on a daily basis.  hit me up and let me know wazzgood!!

easy,

t

hey russ,

my name's "t" and i'm pretty new to this place.  so i figured i'd pop in here right quick and introduce myself.

i'm a musician/composer who's trying to find some freelance work and/or an independent project to work on, and also to build professional relationships with filmmakers, directors, and other fancy folk in the industry.  so just in case you or someone you know is currently looking for music for any kind of project, check out my profile, listen to some stuff on my web site (www.flatnosemusic.com/scoring_index.html ), and if you hear anything you like... hey, why not holla at me and see if we can work something out?  i'd love to hear from ya.

peace,

t

Your poll is hilarious! I just answered, and actually would most likely find myself saying a lot of Milla and Chris' lines in The Fifth Element. LOL

Just wondering, what software does the editors use to process the video, what kind of effect do you guys add to the films to make them look so good when is done? I know for mixing music we use reverbs, compressors and some more, but what about video.
