Hello Student Filmmakers,
TheFlamingo Film Festival, (FFF) , will be having its 2nd Annual Flamingo Film Festival Competition on April 19th - 20th in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. This festival is dedicated to exhibiting the short films and videos produced by post-secondary student filmmakers from around the world. This professionally juried, inaugural event will be held in South Florida and will honor outstanding narrative, documentary, experimental and animated projects created by students.
The entry deadline is March 22, 2013
The submission fee is $10
The 2013 Festival will be held at Florida Atlantic University's Downtown Fort Lauderdale, April 19th - 20th. Specific program times, dates and locations will be announced in the weeks ahead.
There will be awards for films in a number of core and craft categories that include:
CORE AWARD CATEGORIES
• Best Narrative
• Best Documentary
• Best Experimental
• Best Animation
CRAFT AWARD CATEGORIES
• Cinematography
• Editing
