Farmersville: Tell me what you think

  • I would be very thankful to get your thoughts on this post. Please let me know what I can do to make this better and clearer. Thank You!

Farmersville is a 45 minute documentary for middle class American audiences between the ages of 20 and 35. The documentary follows Bill Tuggle, his family, and neighbors during hay season, one of the most trying seasons for a rancher. As they prepare to enter this season, the ranchers must face the difficulty of land shortage in the growing town of Farmerville. Using what land they find to lease, they fall head long into perhaps the most physically exhausting time of the ranchers' life as they spends long hours in the hot sun on tractors, wrestle with broken equipment, balance long hours on the machines while still tending their animals, and storing what they can while still feuding over land. The Ranchers need as much hay as can be gleaned since a shortage can be the end of their herd.
Farmsville focuses on the issue of a developing town and its struggling generation of farmers as they fight the time to continue what they love: ranching.
