    The Vision

Bunnyman is the dream child of Carl Lindbergh, Independent filmmaker from laceName w:st="on">OrangelaceName> laceType w:st="on">CountylaceType> laceName w:st="on">CalaceName>. This is his third feature and by far some of his best work to date. Bunnyman is the story of a group of friends on there way back from a spontaneous weekend trip to Los Vegas, and while driving through the remote regions of southern California they suddenly find themselves in a sickening game cat and mouse with a 5 ton dumptruck, and when looking for help stumble upon a nightmarish family who takes pleasure in dismembering and eating as many of the kids as possible.

    The Story

The film blends several classic horror themes to create a blood curdling dish best served raw. It was important for the Director to capture the intensity and drama as our young hero’s strive to escape the hellish mountainous high desert as well as trying hard to stay away from the Dump truck driving, chainsaw wielding Bunnyman. The Bunnyman character was apparently severely abused as a child, his father figure has a history of violent rage but now he is an old decrepit pet of the Bunnyman.  manifestations of intense rage and child like taunting behavior all while wrapped in a fuzzy bunny suit, it brings a nice spice to the film. Not to mention out side of the dinning room, he remains in his security blanket. I do believe audiences will enjoy the suspense as the Kids fall to the fate of the Bunnyman Family.

    Production.

Production began in early August 2008, just outside the area of Idlewyld tate w:st="on">Californiatate>, in the laceName w:st="on">San BernardinolaceName> laceType w:st="on">National ForestlaceType>. With the project being a low budget Indie feature, a lot of heart was poured into the project by the cast and crew. For the Duration of the Shoot Cast and Crew stayed in two small cabins which truly added to the cohesion of the project, with the majority of the persons involved in the production living in such close, cozy, and bat infested proximity, the bonds of friendship blossomed with the collective question of “What is really going on?” So good times were had and noone got injured, we all endured the suck and are all better for the experience. I know this experience, though difficult and tedious at times, will be shared and cherished for years to come by all those individuals who endured through its completion.
