1 EXT. SPACE
A vast sea of quiet stars… suddenly, A little but fast starship crosses the space… behind it appears two more crafts… they are X- wings, going really fast, pushing to get close to the first ship. The X- wings start to fire lasers on the back of the ship.
cut to:
2 int. moving ship
Inside the starship there are two persons; Mick and his co- pilot Sam. Both of them are in his twenties. Mick try to avoid the lasers by moving the craft to the left side and then, to the right one… the lasers still over them and he repeats the runaway maneuver.
sam
Not good, this is not good, Mick…
mick
Don´t worry… everything´s fine.
The left wing gets injured by one laser… the wing gets on fire, a few inches away from Sam´s window, who looks, terrified.
sam
Excuse me, captain… ¿Can you define “fine” for me?
mick
(While he keeps flying the ship) ¿Did I ever let you down, Sam? As far as I remember, the answer is “no”…
sam
(Complaining while he shots lasers to the X- wings, backwards) My Granma used to say “there is always a first time for everything”
mick
Not this time… not with me, pal… you will see…
A new laser strikes the ship… Mick loses control of the craft… the X- Wings get closer.
sam
¡Damn it! ¿Now what?
Mick doesn´t answer… he keeps trying to control the ship… the camera makes a close up on Mick… his eyes wide open. Then, we listen to a new voice…
profesor watson (V. O)
Mick… ¿Are you listening to me?... Mick… (LOUDER) ¡Mick!
CUT TO:
3. INT. COLLEGE. CLASSROOM. DAY
CAMERA ON A CLOSE UP ON MICK´S EYES… THE VOICE IS EVEN LOUDER NOW.
PROFESSOR WATSON
For God sakes, Mick… (Screaming) ¿Are you even here?
Mick seems to wake up (even if his eyes were both open)… we hear some laughings… the camera pulls back from Mick´s face… he is not longer into a starship… there are several young students in the room… all of them are mocking at him… professor Watson stands in front of Mick´s chair…
PROFESSOR watson
So… ¿Do I have to wait for an answer now, or next century will be fine for you?
mick
(Suddenly, he comes back to reality) Ah… no, no… I can answer now, professor Watson… sorry…
PROFESSOR watson
(Hard look in his eyes) ¿So?
mick
(Check his notes, trying to find something) Well… eh… (Ashamed) ¿Can you repeat the question, professor?
The entire class starts to laugh then… the professor sighs, impatient.
PROFEsSOR watson
¡Dear lord, Mr Smith! ¿Are you ever gonna pay attention to my class?... keep going like that and I guarantee you one thing… ¡You will never be someone!... ¡Big smartass!
Mick doesn´t reply to those words… the professor stops steering at him, and talks to the rest or the class.

The professor keeps talking with no emotion at all, almost like a learned boring speech for his students. They stop the laughs and now are listening to him, resigned. Mick doesn´t pay attention to him… his eyes find something nice: a pretty girl, named Laura, is looking at him. They smile to each other while the professor talks. Mick gets blushed at Laura´s smile. Zoom in to her beautiful face… and…
override to:
4. ext. jungle. day
Camera pulls back from Laura´s face… she is now wearing safari clothes and she looks scared…

Mick… hurry… I don´t wanna end like cat´s food…
Now we see a giant lion, with his mouth wide open, showing big teeth and approaching to her, who is shaking under a big tree, with no way to escape from the attack… Mick is two feet away from her, with a torch in his hand. He walks into the lion, fearless.
mick
Don´t worry… everything´s fine.
laura
(With irony) Excuse me… ¿Can you define “fine” for me?
Mick smiles at him and run to fight with the lion. The animal stops approaching to her, to turn into mick´s direction… animal and man jump into each other, with bravery.
