      PA BOOTCAMP is designed to be a TRAINING COURSE, not simply lecturing.  You will be immersed into the training through hands on exercises and camper/instructor interaction.   Whether you are transitioning from another career field, have just graduated film school or simply want to know what the industry is like, PA BOOTCAMP will provide you the information you’ll need to make an informed decision about your next step into the entertainment industry.  All of our instructors are working industry professionals who bring real life experiences to camp.  There is no other film course that comes closer to on the job training than PA BOOTCAMP.  We prepare you for the job you are expected to do, whether on set or in a production office.  You’ll learn the in’s and out’s of physical production.  How a project is prepped through wrap and the role of a PA within the production system.

  LIFE AFTER PA BOOTCAMP

  
  

      Certified P.A. BOOTCAMP graduates are entered into our Camper Crew List database, which is made available to A.D's and P.O.C's who are staffing their shows.   Campers remain on this list for up to three (3) months.  After this initial period, you will be contacted by PA Bootcamp and asked if you’ve been working in the industry or have decided it isn’t for you.  You will be offered an extension to stay on the list only if you respond to our inquiry.

  
  

      PA BOOTCAMP does not provide job placement, however included in the training are the tools and resources you’ll need to find entry level jobs in the industry.

  Will I get a job when I’m done being trained? 

  
  

  Yes, IF you follow our job search directions. Campers who actively pursue the job resources we provide find work quickly. 

  
  

  We have several ways to help you find work as a Set or Office P.A. after you finish the training.  

  
  

  At the end of day two of Bootcamp, we provide recent printouts of the various production listing websites and direct you to the best ones to sign up with.  (this does not include Craig's List or Mandy)  

  
  

  We also give your name and contact info to the many A.D.s who

  Is Camp held on a set?

  
  

  No.  It is not possible to conduct a training program on an active set. There is NO “movie” equipment, no camera, no lights and no actors.

  
  

   

  
  

  Does PA BOOTCAMP provide a CERTIFICATE? 

  
  

  YES.  To attendees who COMPLETE A FULL SESSION.

  
  

   

  
  

  Does PA BOOTCAMP place you in a job? 

  
  

  No. The industry itself does not look kindly upon being GIVEN a P.A.  ALL A.D.’S, ALL P.O.C.’S and A.P.O.C.’s want the freedom of choosing who they hire.  The choice they make is for a P.A. who is an asset to their show.  Shows hire P.A.’s who are useful, NOT useless.   PA Bootcamp creates industry ready Production Assistants.   This will be you.
