Well, here I am. I've gotten all this location permission stuff almost done and started auditions for the cast and there's something missing somehow....... A CREW!!!!!!! For months, I have tried getting at least one person to be a partner, to share the joy and stuggle of making a short film. Though, I go to film school, no one there is interested. Such is the way of a film school, where everyone seeks to be the next big thing since Spielberg, Lucas, Cameron, Burton, et al. I have worked as everything else other than director and writer on everyone else's film and not complained but secretly yearned to write and direct something of my own and no one has interest. But, this doesn't stop me and it shouldn't, especially if it's my dream. And now, it's come to this.... the internet as a strange, and unlikely source of hope for someone or some people to be on a crew for this film. Student Filmmakers.Com came as a recommendation from another forum.I don't know if it will work, but I'm always willing to try something new.
