Ok,it's been a wee bit since my last blog entry. Funny how we all get so damn busy with projects. Our educational films are now available on Amazon. After a whole year of edit and paper work we got those bad boys out there. They have been used by secondary educational programs in British Columbia and now with distribution through Amazon we will have more exposure.
Our Break Through Healing Arts project is now in post. Both Gerda and I have been in edit all summer and fall and will soon have the 13 episodes packaged in on a nice DVD double set. This series will also be marketed through our Amazon account.
So what' coming up in the spring? Well we are looking to create a few music videos for some local Island artists and have started a co-operative film making training program for some local folks wanting to dip their imaginations into the realm of visdual story telling. We held the first series of classes last year as a test to see if there was enough interest. And to our surprise we are now holding the 3rd series of classes with 12 to 15 people in each class.
I was happy to spend most of my days off this summer riding my bike and getting in some me time.
This winter takes me to visit across the country and will spend some time with my still camera. (it gets lonely) and get some great shots of the Rockies and Columbia Icefields along the way.Finally, we are looking to create a new video series this spring. I'm moving forward with the writing and hope to have the cast and crew in place by March. I'll tell you more later.
So far this fall and soon to be winter will find me once again as a mushroom in the edit bay and Gerda promised to keep me supplied with coffee and doughnuts. I sure hope you all have had success as well with your projects.
