CALL FOR ENTRIES 2011 Princeton Student Film & Video Festival
The Princeton Student Film & Video Festival is sponsored by the Princeton Public Library and is in its 8th consecutive year, providing the opportunity and venue for youth filmmakers to show their work to a broad audience. The festival attendance has reached capacity audiences every year with about 150 people per night, with lots of appreciation and lively feedback for the filmmakers.
The selected films will be screened over 2 nights --Wednesday July 20 and Thursday July 21 – 2011 at the Princeton Public Library located at 65 Witherspoon Street in downtown Princeton, New Jersey.
There is no admission to attend the screenings, which are intended for a teen and adult audience.
Once again this year a selection of films from the Princeton Student Film & Video Festival will also screen at the Artist Visions Film Festival, a festival in its 2nd year in Lambertville, New Jersey, on July 22 & 23, 2011.
Filmmakers are invited to submit in many genres, including “Abstract,” “Action,” “Animation,” “Comedy,” “Commercial,” “Documentary,” “Feature,” “Environmental,” “Experimental,” “Mockumentary,” “Music Video,” “Personal Narrative,” “Public Service Announcement,” and “Other.” We also feature a “Where I’m From” category ~ to showcase local culture, community, landscape, a local place, an animal or a specific local person including self-portrait films about the student filmmaker’s life where they live.
All entries for consideration for both/either festival should be directly submitted to the Princeton Student Film & Video Festival. Please see the entry form for complete instructions.
There is no charge to submit entries.
