Slamdance is the festival "by filmmakers, for filmmakers," known for championing emerging and truly independent voices, especially first-time directors working with limited budgets. Now based in Los Angeles, the 33rd edition screens features, shorts, documentaries, episodic work and experimental films across venues in the city. A great festival to submit to, attend and learn from early in your career.
