It works, but I think a bit of variation in emotion would liven it up even more. Keep up the great work, though! I'm looking forward to seeing you're future projects.

I agree with film_maniac73's feedback. How could you get or create a wider range of emotions? One way is to go back to the story. Edit the story. For a short film that is more dialogue driven with minimal to no camera movement, consider making it a shorter, tighter story and film. Usage of different kinds of storytelling mechanisms and having a clear climax or crucial scene with a twist can give more range and dynamics.
