Too many projects???

  • I've just been retained to edit a new feature that is in pre-production right now called "At The Foot of a Tree". The film is slated to shoot in England next month. I will edit in September/October. I can't say much about the plot right now, as it is confidential, but suffice it to say that it will be a BIG SURPRISE to everyone when they see it. Do I hear Oscar buzz??? hehe...

Friday I shot a campaign video for Hillary Clinton, and Sunday I shot steadicam concert footage for [link="http://www.mattworkman.com/2007/prayerforhiphop/index.html?"]"A Prayer For Hip Hop"[/link] documentary.

I still haven't had a chance yet to work on my own projects. I have two I wish to submit to P.O.V. by their deadline next week and I have not yet had a chance to start the re-edit yet. I have another in-concert piece to create for the premiere of "Workin' on a Building" next month as well as the re-edit of "Papa's Branch." Marlon is coming over tomorrow to record the VO track yet I have not yet written what he will say!

I hate to say it, but I miss the times when I was able to just sleep on the couch for weeks, watching "Star Trek" reruns. There is the possibility I will leave this summer to shoot another doc abroad. I still have to edit a feature length documentary about musicians in Africa, which I haven't had a chance to work on yet. All this work, and I'm not rich yet. Well, it will come soon. At least I'm beginning to get a little famous. [br]
