America Meet World is a video contest that is searching for the best comedy the world has to offer.
Submissions open in October 2013 and five finalists will be showcased at SXSW in March 2014. The contest’s winner – the video with the most views – will win a sit-down meeting with a senior U.S. entertainment executive, helping international comedians break into the American market. Videos submitted to America Meet World, along with content we produce and curate, will feed into a digital video portal that connects U.S. audiences with global comedians. The portal is expected to go live in early 2014.
