ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
This year the BUT Film Festival will take place between September 5th and September 9th in Breda. BUT Film Festival differs from other film festivals by screening movies that deviates from main stream cinema on the level of taste, form and content. BUT stands for B-movies, Underground and Trash. B-movies are made with a small budget without the supervision of a large production company. Underground movies are films that search the boundaries of the admissibility and often contain explicit scenes. Trash movies are over the top for the content as well for the images. Every year there is a program made up with a variety of films for the hard core fans of experimental, bizarre and absurd movies. Besides films, performances and art is a vast part of the festival.

Send in your submissions before the 1st of june 2012. There is NO entry fee. In July or August all applicants will receive a message in which they are notified whether their submission is selected or not.
