About Me
Hi! My name is David Rubenstein, and I am a composer. When I was a teenager, I had a wonderful piano teacher. He himself was a jazz pianist. Not only did he teach me to play the piano; he also taught me about music notation, music theory, arranging, improvising, and composing. Since then, I have composed well over a hundred pieces of music--composing is my passion. I have constructed a comprehensive music portfolio at www.Wonderful-Music.com
Over the years, I have composed a lot of music for live musicians; for solos, duets, trios, quartets, quintets, and for larger ensembles. These pieces were performed in regularly-scheduled concerts in the Washington, DC area. Recently I have composed and produced music for numerous feature-length and short films. I have also composed for theatrical performances and video games.
With 25 years of composing and producing music, I have the experience and tools to help make your film project into an enthralling experience for the audience. I can quickly compose a memorable music score that expresses all of the moods and emotions that are needed; emotional, dramatic, joy, tension, humor, anger, horror. My goal is always to to help bring your vision to life, and help you tell your story, in YOUR way. I am always agreeable to a few revisions, to make sure that the director is totally pleased!
