I just wanted to ask all of you if you happen to know the drill when it comes to asking a major studio for permission to shoot and distribute a tiny clip of one of their films within a short film I'm already working on. Is it a dead issue, or do I have a chance at getting their permission, how do I do it and how long will it take for me to get a response from them?

I appreciate your feedback. It makes a lot of sense, there's trulya difference between theoretical film and experimental film, just being out there doing makes you realize all the tangibles possible or not, thanks again...
